Where do you run your classes?
Our fitness classes are held at our exclusive Bootcamp studio; 12c Grand Avenue, Hove BN3 2FQ (located below Sawyers Estate Agents). Our Wellbeing Studio for Yoga, Pilates & Mediatation classes is located at; 12a Regency Square (below 360 Hotel), Brighton BN1 2FG. Please note we also run some Yoga classes from our Hove location.
Do you have showers and lockers?
Our Hove studio has separate male and female changing rooms with invigorating rainforest showers and hairdryers. Valuables can be kept in the lockers (padlock required) or in the bag drop area.
Do I need to bring/buy my own KIT?
For hygiene purposes we ask that you bring your own boxing gloves for class. These can also be purchased at our studio. We have a few pairs of gloves that can be borrowed if you forget yours. We supply Yoga mats for all wellbeing classes.
Can I attend Boxercise alone or do I need to bring a partner?
We will always find you a parter in class with a similar fitness level so you are never left out! Our customers are a friendly happy bunch and will always make you feel welcome.
What do I need to bring to a class?
Water and a sweat towel are essential plus a bath towel if you wish to use the showers. We recommend workout trousers or shorts a t-shirt and athletic shoes.
How do I book a Class/Course?
Please book online by selecting the class you wish to attend on the timetable page.
How do I cancel a Class?
Please login to our booking system or use the mobile app on your phone to cancel. A minimum of 6hrs notice is required or you will be charged for the class.
Can I book the same day as I wish to attend?
Yes you can! In fact you can book online up to 5 mins before a class is due to start.
Do I have to book?
No, if there is space available in a class then you are more than welcome to just 'drop in'. Booking is recommended though for quick check in and to guarantee your space in class.
How do I know if there is space on a session I am interested in booking for?
Just check the timetable page before you book, if a class is full this will be clearly highlighted. We also run a waiting list on all classes and you will be emailed and text if a space becomes available at least 3hrs before the class is due to start.
What happens if I don't show up?
Aside from the obvious loss of a great workout; your team may have to do the extra push-ups or sit-ups that you were supposed to do! If you can't make it then please try let us know asap as spaces are limited and there may be others waiting to come along. Please note you will be charged £20 if you do not attend or cancel more than 3 times in a month.
What kind of people go to Boxercise Bootcamp?
Men & Women just like you! Boxercise Bootcamp is designed for all fitness levels: all different shapes, sizes and ages. You do not have to be an athlete or physically fit to start. We establish a baseline for you and set goals and monitor you throughout your time with us. We have a range of clients, from those who have never worked out to those who are marathon runners!
Will you yell at us?
Yes, there will be yelling involved, but only in a motivating and healthy manner. We don't abuse, harass or degrade, just positive reinforcement and encouragement and some good jokes and fun.
How soon will I see results?
Everyone is different with different types of bodies. Some can see improvements in performance in as little time as 1 week. Many see visual improvements in 3 weeks, depending on your effort level and maintaining a healthy diet. It is very common to see members lose weight and decrease in size when consistently attending boot camp.
What if I have a specific injury (i.e. bad knees or back) or can't perform a certain exercise?
We will provide modified workouts that are personalized for you as alternatives to strengthen your body and still give you the most intense workout you can have.
