What is your fitness background?
I have been doing sports and fitness since I was a little girl. Having been born and raised in Finland, skiing and sports are part of my DNA! I was a county level cross country skier, played volleyball on a national level at under 16, done athletics, cross country running, you name it!
What's your favourite post workout shake?
The 'White Chocolate, Banana and Peanut Butter' from the Boxercise shake bar! Its delicious and keeps me going on to the next workout.
Do you have any tips for a beginner to your class?
My tip would be, dont compare yourself to others, everyone has their own background so just concentrate on your own performance and make that the best you can.
How do you keep your energy levels up during a tough workout?
When I see people really push themselves at my classes, it makes me want to push harder and keep going, just those few extra reps!
Personally when I have seen and felt the results of a tough workout, you want to achieve that as often as possible.
What are your interests out of of work?
I recently got my motorcycle licence so out on my bike quite often. I do like to get out and about and do as many fitness related activities as I can, bouldering, running, cycling...
