I love seeing people's faces after they have smashed a workout, its priceless. You'll always see me running around and joining in to help motivate people plus it's team workout, we are in it together! I am a true believer in 'mind over matter.' Hoping you might succeed doesn't bring success. Believing you will does!
What is your fitness background
Sport has always been a passion of mine, I danced, played netball and represented our county at gymnastics. Then university and the real world happened
I decided to take it to the next level when I hit my 30's. That was 5 years ago. I get such a buzz from teaching and helping other's sometimes it doesn't feel like work!
What do you do when you are not instructing at Boxercise Bootcamp?
I'm also an Art Director for Health & Fitness magazine, so when I'm not chained to my desk I like nothing more then getting a sweat on, either on my bike or with my best friend who you'll know as 'The boxing bag' Sometimes you might find me paddling round the pier. I'm sure I was a mermaid in a former life!
What workout do you enjoy most?
Apart from boxing, there is nothing more amazing then putting on some tunes and bashing out a 30min Hiit session – Remember it's about training efficiently and to finish feeling elated and with a smile, even if it is through sweat and gritted teeth
What do you love about boxercise?
The team work. The classes can be hard going which is great as you see results fast but the constant reminder that you are in this together makes it easier plus the atmosphere is very chilled. The only person who you are in competition with is yourself
